MLB is a fast SIP proxy application capable to handle millions of simultaneous calls and will provide traffic routing based on server load.
The SIP Load Balancers automatically detect when a server is unavailable using various methods such as ICMP ping, SIP signaling and/or API calls and also it is able to receive feedback from the destinations (if they are capable of).
